Karuan

Hello! I’m Karuan, and I’ve spent over 10 years navigating Berlin, mostly on the U8 or U7. I’m passionate about cities and their many layers, which are constantly in transition: technological, activist, sustainable, cultural, and so on. Professionally, I research and help develop urban mobility strategies, from the effects of active mobility on health to the impact of autonomous vehicles on society. Although I was on the streets at the protests that led to the founding of DCB, I only joined DCB at the beginning of 2026, with the wish to help build a community that is politically engaged, networked, and striving for change.
