Dowry by Water

“Dowry by Water” is an event organized by Koopkultur e.V and Diaspora Civică Berlin that aims to rediscover the cultural values around the traditional dowry, as well as to create a space for sharing ideas and experiences for Romanian-speaking women in Berlin. 

The proposed activities will include: 

– A screen-printing workshop in which participants will be able to print symbols (personal or brought by us) on modern wearables

– Themed artistic moments with Berlin-based artists

– A political zone with the theme: gender equality and women’s rights in Romanian political discourse

– A thematic exhibition from SezătorIE

The event will take place on August 28, 2024 between 16:00 and 20:00

Location: itinerant route on the Unkraut Boat (meeting point details will be emailed to people who register for the event) 

It is not possible to get off the boat during the event.
