DC Debate
This type of event focuses on moderated debates, with a current theme and a call-to-action message for projects and initiatives open to change.
DCB members think that only through discussions and debates, new points of view could arise as well as actions which could lead to positive changes in the Romanian society.
We all live today in social media bubbles, where our own opinions and conviction are strengthened by articles and other thoughts more or less anchored in reality. We find it more and more dificult to communicate amongst us, to support our arguments, observations and points of view.
DC Debate gives us exactly the space for such discussions, where everyone’s opinions are listened to, respected and debated.
For example, the first DC Debate event was called “Why (De Ce in Romanian) we got here” and its aim was to talk about how Romania got to the #Rezist phenomenon, but more how we, as Romnian Diaspora from Berlin, can build up civic enangament and have a significant contribution to the reconstruction of Romania we all want.
